Server Resetting Terrain to Default
I've been playing on a dedicated server with a friend, and recently we've run into an issue where any terrain that we've edited gets reverted to its original form when the world was generated for one person, but the other sees the terrain the way we've edited it. But when one leaves and rejoins the server, the view is swapped. The person who previously saw the terrain the way we had reshaped it now sees the original world, and the person who rejoined sees it the way we have changed it. I unfortunately can't upload more than one image to show exactly what I mean

Smiffe AdminHello Nathan!
This is a issue we have had for a while now. There are work-arounds but the actual issue isn't something we have found out what is causing it yet.
One way to "fix" it is by having both players using the hoe on the same positions. That has worked before. even if it really doesn't make any sence. -

AkaneaI've had the same problem lately. Friends and I took over a Draugr village and have repurposed it to our own, After paving the main path through town, occasionally after sleeping or leaving the area, we will return to see a giant mound where the path was. Terrain seems to reverting to its original state. Very frustrating. Hopefully a fix soon!

HeraknosHi, I have the exact same bug on multiplayer and solo (but I don't know if the solo map is corrupted by a desync on multiplayer).
Step to reproduce :
- Do some terreforming with hoe and pickaxe, on multi player local server
- Reload the map, some changement are not effective.
- you can also do it by using teleporter far from the terrain you modified, to force a zone reload
If you use pickaxe of hoe once again, all terrain go back to modified version. Other players see modified terrain.
I supposed the zone is loading by the first player coming in, so this player see original terrain and others see modified.
Maybe it's cause by some desync, then the save is corrupted forever ?
I can make a video to show this issue if needed.
Edit : This issue can be cause by reloading terrain like seed over the modified terrain by the player. Juste maybe a loading order. -

HeraknosSame as Akanea, I have the bug in an abandoned village with some Draugr inside. We clean the village and rebuild it. With the terraformation. Maybe a but when loading this special zone

DagwoodI have this issue on a solo world, also at a repurposed Draugr Village. A couple of spots keep needing to be re-flattened, and occasionally flattening one area will cause the land to drop in another.
