Alex SI'm also getting consistent crashing, but my entire pc doesn't crash and I am able to retrieve crash logs. I'm averaging probably a half hour between crashes.

If there's somewhere to upload the crash.dmp file I'm happy to do that. All of my crashes have basically the same info in my error.log, with the crash being a d3d11.dll access violation

Bertie WrightI'm having bluescreen crashes randomly. Sometimes I'll be able to play for a few hours, sometimes a minute or two. I also lose a bunch of resources each time like it resets my character inventory/map back to whenever it saved last.
I think this could be an issue with the GPU drivers, I get an WHEA_uncorrectable_error code which seems to be related to graphics card drivers which I uninstalled and installed the latest ones.
I've also spoken to someone else having this issue, they're using a NVIDIA 20xx GPU and the 30xx series uses the same drivers as the 20xx series per the nvidia website so I think it's likely that. -

- reinstall
- drivers up to date
- verify game files
- playing at various graphics settings / de-selecting intensive settings (e.g. sun shafts off)
- stress test of GPU and memory
- replaced Power Supply Unit with a spare
- replaced SSD
- ran as admin

Seth RMy game only crashes while I'm inside of Crypts, otherwise runs completely fine. Sometimes it crashes as soon as I enter the crypt, other times it will take 20-30 seconds before it crashes. I've tried re-installing, drivers are up to date, nothing running in the background, running as admin, checking file integrity, nothing seems to do the trick.

MoogieODev says that all of these crashes, with exactly the same error code, from a wide variety of systems of different specs, is "probably not a bug in the game" and he won't look into the issue. Listen, I get it: one guy, a lot on his plate right now. But let's not outright dismiss this as "lol players PCs just suck"? Please? This is CLEARLY a GAME BUG that needs to be addressed, not outright ignored!

Yesterday it happened 4 times after which I reinstalled the game and I managed to play 5 hours in a row. Today everything is going around again, I play for 5-10 minutes and the computer dies again. I hope this can be fixed, because I forced four of my friends to buy this game, and now all that remains is to sit and watch their stream on discord.. I haven't spent my vacation so sad yet.

p2im0Game freezes, I'm able to move mouse cursor, and occasionally log out of the game (after memorizing button locations) as the game appears to run for 5-20 seconds after the image freezes. If I can log out successfully my character state is saved and no crash is reported. If not, I get a crash log and my character is reverted to an earlier state.

GrahamStarted on day one with the crashes for me. Every few hours. Losing at most an hour's work each time. Then I got a load error when trying to load my world. Had to delete the new save files and use the .old saves (lost about 8 hours work) so I started a new world. Luckily I have been manually backing up saves as I then got the world eater bug after 40 hours in this one and then to top it off the crashing has ramped up and I can't get past about 10 mins in game. Nothing fixes it.

System Specs:
i7-7700k (overclocked to 5.0ghz)
Asus 2080ti

At first I was able to walk around the game for about an hour but at random my pc just rebooted itself. After that its now about 15-20 minutes like clockwork the game will freeze and I have force close the game in order to get out of it. I tested with upping voltages, turning off overclockes on both cpu and gpu but the issue remains. This is the only game I have issues with in this way. I have my system on a custom water loop so temps are not an issue. Ram was tested with Memtest and that passed fine. This makes the game unplayable for me so I hope someone resolves the issue because it seems like a great game but I am gonna have to pass on playing till this is fixed. -

SephThese are almost certainly driver or hardware config issues. Direct3D library crashes are very rarely issues with the game they occur in.
I would strongly suggest all those having these issues investigate their memory/graphics configurations (especially their memory speeds/voltages if overclocked or using XMP/AMP/DOCP profiles) and video drivers before continuing to post their issues here as a bug with Valheim. -

Mike RGame is fantastic, but keeps crashing regularly, every 10- 15 minutes if I'm lucky. I ensured my Windows 10 was updated, my Nvidia drivers were updated, I verified my game files, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer after all updates/ reinstalls. I shot my settings down to the lowest grade possible to get a few more minutes of gameplay before the inevitable crash. My computer doesn't crash, just the game. Please fix this issue so I can enjoy the game, it really sucks to be halfway through building a shelter only to crash and have to start gathering materials all over and rebuild.

But today (I re-prioritized process) problems came back, unable to play more than 10 mins, whole computer freezes (including sound), and after ~20 secs, comes the BSOD.
No relevant info in Event Viewer, and a memory dump file of 830MB, don't have the courage to browse it.

Black CaviarAlso having crashes, anywhere from 1 minute in to 10 minutes in.. I think the longest I've played may have been somwhere between 10 and 15 minutes.
Its not a blue screen of death or anything, everything just straight freezes and I cant CTRL+ALT Delete out, i just have to restart. Ive run a a systems overlay
when playing and there's no spikes or anything, CPU,GPU and Ram usage is normal and temps are fine.
I can play other games fine but its just Valheim :(
PC Specs:
i7-7700k
Have tried using both NVIDIA GTX 1060 3gb and a AMD 6800xt with a 850W PSU
16gb Ram 3000mhz
I've tried,
Reinstalling the game
Lowering in game gaphics,
Turning Windows game mode on and off
Have even reinstalled Windows 10
I've tried “Command Prompt (Admin)” sfc and no issues
Updated Windows and GPU to latest updates (this was tested on both the 1060 & 6800xt)
Bios has also been updated to latest version.
Have added Valheim to the Windows graphics performance prefernce
I've tried running steam as an admin -

BluntOwnageHaving the Unity crash window popup, occasionally I get a complete PC crash as well forcing a restart. Game ran great for ~40hr, now, unstable. I can play at min settings for longer, but at max settings the game runs maybe 5-30m before crashing again. Doesn't matter what I am doing, walking, running, killing stuff, crafting, this biome, that biome...

MagnusMy game crashed constantly, every time at the menu or when starting a game and checked the error log that says:
UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
Tried everything but nothing helped until I set the CPU affinity to 2 cores in the Task Manager. Choose Details and then right click on the Valheim process and "Set affinty". That seemed to solve it for me. -

More often than not the game will not hard crash, but the screen will freeze. Other players can still see me move so the server (that I'm hosting) remains fine, and input still gets registered fine. I also hear sound from the game which is definitely not looping (I can walk on wood and hear wood footsteps, then back up onto grass and hear those steps).

Eric ChjonI'm encountering an odd crash where all graphics freeze but the music and sound keep going. If I hit escape, the mouse cursor changes to the menu (sword) and I can click on SOME options but they're all invisible (since only the frozen image is on the screen). Sometimes this results in an actual game crash but most of the time I need to CTRL+ALT+DEL myself back to the desktop.

JoeSame issues as others. Played for about 40 hrs, now today I'm crashing my entire computer trying to play. Sometimes I get in and run around for 3 minutes, most other times it just shuts my entire rig down.
Disappointed. -

Dirty BirdI'm having crashes now even crashes my system. Though most times it's just to the desktop.
See that D3d.dll as the culprit. And seems that when one of my other games has a update come in from steam in the background the game crashes. don't know if this is relevant, or tied in with the Dll , but it is a place for the Dev's to look
I played this for the first 50 hours or so without so much as a hiccup now crashes after a few min's to about 15 min's in the game. Seems the last update Borked it. Uninstalled and reinstalling the game to see if this fix's it. -
18 Feb, '21
BalligNot sure if anyone has mentioned, but one possible crash is likely caused by having a large page/swap file. Check to make sure your swap file isn't massive (10+ gb). Server and client crashes are likely caused by the same issue - saving characters and world files uses valloc, which can crash when a swap file is too big. Check out https://valheimbugs.featureupvote.com/suggestions/159928/

JoeGame constantly crashes. It honestly had happened once in a while previously, but now it is always under 3 minutes after I start usually I dont even get 10 seconds into the actual world.
Monitor shuts down "no input" and then have to hard restart my computer.
What gives? I have 40 hours in on this game, and it is killing my desire for this game. Especially after I hyped my friends into buying it. -
18 Feb, '21
GrahamThe issue seems to be occurring for most people around the 5+ hour mark, which is exactly what happened for me. I was told by a friend that he fixed it by turning off "Continuous Music", supposedly he found out that after a certain amount of hours with the music playing on a loop, it eventually "clogs" up memory and with the memory not knowing what to do the computer shuts down under the stress. I switched it off and found that I was able to play around 3 hours with no crashes.
After waking up the next day I was only able to play around 2 minutes before my computer crashed, tried again and then crash again, barely 5 minutes in-game. No one will assist on Reddit as they seem to be in denial over there that there is a clear issue with the game, the error code I am getting is 0xc0000005. If this doesn't get fixed soon I may need to request a refund as the product is clearly faulty, which sucks cause I love this damn game. -

Justin KSame problem as everyone here. It started out as random and I could play for multiple hours before a crash. Lately it has been happening more frequently.
I have done everything I can think of and tried fixes posted online with no success.
I have tried:
- Uninstall and reinstall of game
- Updated windows and all drivers
- Lowering in game settings and disabling some lighting settings as suggested online
- Completely wiping my PC and starting from scratch
- Ran a RAM test multiple times with no errors
- Took out RAM (2 x 16GB) and tried to play game with each stick individually and game crashed less than 5 minutes in each time
- Lowered refresh rate from 144hz to 60hz
I'm at a loss for a possible solution at this point. All hardware is less than a year old and updated. 72 hours in and wanting to triple that number if this gets fixed.
Thanks for any help. Justin -

bioI created two portals, both called "home" (no quotes). I went to create a third (all separate biomes) and called it "home" in both the Swamp and Meadows and it WOULD NOT connect. I went back to my main base and the portal there got destroyed by a Swamp siege event. I rebuilt it and called it "home" once again and now NONE of the three portals is connected. What gives? Is "home" a bad name? My world is all spread out and requires lots of rafting which is PAINFUL -- this portal issue is making me want to shelf the game.

AmyI've tried starting this game two times, both times it has crashed somewhere around 10-15 minutes into game play. This second time it crashed I saw a little window loading bar thing that said Unity on it, however, it didn't stick around long enough for me to see if there was anything else. I've got a 1080ti and pretty good specs all around. I can't even get far enough in to build a bed and actually save my progress.

Blue screening after anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours consistently.

BrokenI bought Valheim yesterday and was able to play for a few hours. In that play session, my PC crashed 3 times (about every 30 min). The PC would shut down and restart (no BSOD, just normal restart).
Today, I tried launching the game and I can't even get 3 seconds in the server after loading before the game restarts my PC.
I can't even diagnose the problem because it doesn't give me any error before crashing.
I can run every other game just fine, but Valheim nukes my pc just by booting it.
Things I have done to try and fix it (nothing worked):
-Updated Graphics Drivers
-Updated Chipset Drivers
-Uninstalled, cleared AppData cache and registry, reinstalled
-Lowered resolution
-Turned off constant music
-Verified game integrity

TyoobssSame experience here, game starts and loads no problem, looks beautiful, plays fantastic, then crashes after 10 minutes. I usually cant get through a whole day which means it wont save any progress. I've clocked 3 hours play time on steam and I am still at the start of the 2nd day due to this. I understand the situation with the small development team and the huge blow up of the game will cause a backlog of issues like this and will take time to fix.
This is a wide spread issue and will cause a ripple in the games success if left unchecked. I look forward to playing the finished version of the game with these bugs fixed. -

KmarieI am having the exact same issues everyone is having, minus the BSOD. It only crashes in a certain location of the Black Forest. I can go on for a long time in other places and not experience it freezing then crashing. I've tried basically everything under the sun that is recommended online with no resolution. What's irritating is that it's not happening to my friends who play with me on the same server. This started happening after the latest update.

DeximusI have tried everything above and just recently reformatted my computer due to an endless amount of 3rd party programs. I can tell you unless its a base Microsoft program the 3rd party theory is not an excuse. I literally only had steam and Valheim, and was still crashing. Maybe hardware issue but doubt so many people are all having the same hardware issue. So whats next at this point? change peripherals? or start changing out hardware in the PC?

Sometimes it will crash gracefully, with Windows still functioning, but my 3rd Monitor will always lose connection.
Sometimes the PC freezes with green sparkling pixels across the 2 monitors (3rd one ALWAYS disconnects) and PC requires hard reset.
I've tried lowering all settings to bare minimum, updating Nvidia drivers. & I set the executable to run as admin. I've tried disconnecting all but my primary monitor. All appear to have no effect on the crashing.

Benoît De CaluwéMy game crashes every now and then. Sometimes i can play straight for a few hours without crashing, sometimes it takes 30 minutes to crash.
The time it takes to crash is very random. I noticed that the most time when it crashes, i was in a chest or into my inventory, ... Things like that.
When the game crashes, for a few seconds after the crash i can still move my character, i can't see it because the screen is freezed but i can hear it. Also when i play with friends and my game crashes, they can still see me move --> This is takes mostly about 15-20 seconds.

why meSame issue with PC crashing. No other game or application does this. Ran full diagnostics and benchmarks on PC, all passed flawlessly. With this game, my PC completely turns off randomly (30+ times). Attempted all the troubleshooting and settings tweaks recommended in forums, but to no avail. Played hundreds of hours of other games without a single issue. In looking through other forums, seems like a lot of people have this issue and the developer keeps responding to support tickets with "its hardware" which it is not.

Shane McGregorI've been playing the game for the past couple of days, love it and I'm totally addicted. However, I reached Day 43 (in-game) and a message popped up to say "The Forest is Moving". I successfully killed a few of the mobs and suddenly my entire PC crashed. I rebooted, tried again and within a minute or two my PC crashed again.

DavidPC crashing for me too. It’s very random and can happen 15 minutes in or 2 hours in. Crash forces a restart of the PC which, after login to Windows, crashes again and again and then is okay. DeximusPOSSIBLE FIX!
If you havent been follwing the thread, im the dude that has done everything to include reformatting and starting for scratch. Updated everything down the USB drives. Nothing worked. I had given up yesterday and attempted to move on to Battlefront. Downloaded the Origin platform which had some very strange updates to my system. Not sure what they were and didnt think anything of it. (this is the only that that is different from all other mentioned fixes) Logged in last night to help a friend his new server. Went 2 hours without issue. switch to my dedicated server we have with the boys, went 3-4 hours without issues, took a nap while leaving the game up on the menu screen (this was a long term test bc it would crash on this screen to), came back after forgetting to wake up 4 hours later, STILL up. played another 3-4 hours, STILL UP, left it open all last night about 7-8 hours. Still up.
I dont know what Origin put on my PC, but so far no issues -

WillGame worked completely fine for the first 2 days (~ 8 hour sessions) but on the third day about 4 hours in, the whole pc just shuts down and restarts. Tried loading back in and every time I get to the Valheim loading screen my pc just gets nuked. Tried everything from updating drivers, reinstalling, monitored temps, unplugged and plugged it back in. Sometimes if I'm lucky I can get to the character select before the game kills my pc. No crash reports or anything. Other games like r6s and WoW work totally fine. Valheim is just completely unplayable :(

Mintsia01I've had problems similars to the above , when i play i stay good for 5-30 min and out of nothing a crash with unity and random numbers, tried underclocking everything possible (went from 3000mhz to 2000, heard that 1666 might resolve but havent testet) , went to factory defaults , did a lot of stuff until now but the problem stays , sometimes i play for 3 hours but still happens .
RAM 8gb
gpu gtx 1650
I found a bug along with it , if i play in someone else server i can log in , take some stuff, log out , log in again , deposit stuff in a chest, if it crashes under some time when i log in again i duplicate the stuff i had in my inventory when i did the first log out manually(sometimes it crashes in the log out too, very weird) .
Hope they find a fix for these bugs soon , looks like it happens only in gen 10,16,20,30 of nvidia , must be something with new gen of graphic cards. -

RowanI'm having the same issue as the OP. I pkayed for two hours this morning with no issues. 40 min om a friends game this afternoon then the whole PC crashed. Now it crashes as soon as I get to the initial menu, sometimes before. I like the game, but I'm starting to want my money back because it is basically unplayable with this happening I've spent more time trying to track down the issue than I have playing the fucking game. The worst thing is that there is no error code to read because it crashes the whole PC. If all I had to do was restart Valheim I'd be pretty happy, but instead I have to power down my whole PC because restarting isn't enough. I am getting sick to death of unfinished bullshit getting pushed out. I want to supoort independent creators, but if this is what I get I'll go back to Ubisoft or Bethesda at least their glitches don't make thinga unplayable or fuck over my whole system.
It's amazing how common this qpparently is but noone has done anything about it. -

MikeNo idea if it's the same cause as others, but my game can run for a long time without crashing except for when I get out of the bed after sleeping. It pretty much crashed every single time a bit after that every time I did it. So I stopped sleeping and no crashes.
It was an AccessVioloation like others. If I can figure out a call stack I will as that might help narrow down the issue, at least for me. -

HunApoWhole PC freeze, speakers giving buzzing sound for 2-3s, then the whole system autoreboot.
No blue screen error, no game crashing logs, nothing in windows event viewer (just a critical error ID 41, for unexpected reboot)

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB
MSI MAG Z390M Mortar
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming 8GB GDDR5 (256 Bit)
No overclocking at all.
Turned the graphics to medium only.
Drivers all latest, tried earlier version of game ready driver, then updated to latest.
Only apps running in background are discord, steam and AVG.
Crash happened in solo play, playing with friend as host, playin with friends while they host and on dedicated server as well
Sometimes i can play 3 days 7-8hours, no crash, then next day 2 crashes in less than 30 mins. Than next day crash free, than again crash.
In 150h, i had at least 15 crashes to reboot, and only 1 bluescreen death and 1 time the app crashed and exited properly, creating a crash dump.
Rest of the cases, nothing. -

Andy SpencerAfter trying several suggestions (verifying game files, running game in administrator mode, limiting game frame rate to 30 fps, turning off triple buffering) I was able to play the game for a couple of hours without crashing every few minutes. But now the game window does not draw (or is invisible), while sound continues to play and game seems to respond to controller and keyboard inputs (e.g. jumping or switching tools). I can't figure out how to quit game without losing progress, since no user interface elements are visible. It would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut to save and quit the game, without navigating the menu.

I couldn't believe itSo I bought Valheim about 1.5 weeks ago. For my first hour or so I was fine and then I started crashing. Like many others I removed any OC'ing I had in attempt to make the game stable. This appeared to work for about 2 hours until I started to crash again.
Here is where it gets weird. I all of a sudden started crashing in other games, games I had never crashed in. This progressively got worse and worse until even launching a game or even a browser video would either freeze my entire computer or bsod me.
At this point I thought something was wrong with my PC. I changed out the RAM and my GPU (from a 3080 to a 960) and I was still freezing.
I then did a safe mode sweep of all my old drivers and reinstalled the most up to date ones...Still same issue.
Finally one of my friends asked if I had uninstalled Valheim. The answer? No, because why would a game that isn't even running crash me? Well I uninstalled Valheim, did another driver reinstall and now everything works again... -

Kalde NutterI'll add to the list of disgruntled folks...exactly the same, crashes constantly and can be from a minute or two in the game to more commonly 15 to 20 mins. Running 5950X with a 6900XT. In the log files I see several of these:
3D11: Failed to create RenderTexture (256 x 256 fmt 53 aa 1), error 0x887a0005
(Filename: Line: 207)
d3d11: failed to create buffer (target 0x5 mode 0 size 2592) [0x887A0005]
Followed by several of these:
ERROR: SymGetSymFromAddr64, GetLastError: 'Attempt to access invalid address.' (Address: 00007FF9CFDE1A33)
0x00007FF9CFDE1A33 (UnityPlayer) (function-name not available)
And then:

0x00007FFA118D7034 (KERNEL32) BaseThreadInitThunk
0x00007FFA11A3D241 (ntdll) RtlUserThreadStart
Which looks more like an issue with this application than RAM speed or Swap File size. -

KazieCan add that the error "UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)" happens consistently with 32GB GSkill Trident z 3600mhz ram while XMP is enabled. Have tried with two separate computers running the same hardware. With XMP disabled and the ram running at 2133mhz the crashes stop.

JuusoSame issue, PC just shuts down entirely and reboots. No other game does this. Seems to be fine for a few hours after starting, then it starts happening repeatedly if I go back into the game. Didn't use to do this, might have come at a later date due to an update or our village growing in size and thus performance dropping. Only thing that seems to work for me is to not play the game for a while and then it will run again for some time before the crashing starts again.

Today, after opening/closing a chest or using the forge/work bench, i.e. any interaction via the "E" key, the character performs a punch. The real problem, though, is that mouse button 1 is now unresponsive, meaning you can't attack etc. Key reset attempted via settings>controls menu to no avail.....

BrokenAble to play for a few hours to a couple minutes per session. My PC would shut down and restart (no BSOD, just normal restart).
No error logs available due to full system crash.
I can run every other game just fine, but Valheim nukes my pc just by booting it.
Things I have done to try and fix it (nothing worked):
-Updated Graphics Drivers
-Updated Chipset Drivers
-Uninstalled, cleared AppData cache and registry, reinstalled
-Lowered resolution
-Turned off constant music
-Verified game integrity
-Added -window-mode exclusive -screen-fullscreen to steam launch settings
-Added gfx-enable-gfx-jobs=1 and gfx-enable-native-gfx-jobs=1to boot.config file
-Switched to NVidia studio drivers
-Set process priority to high in task manager

Linus NeumanI have BSOD when playing Valheim. Sometimes it's a couple hours in, sometimes it's within 15 minutes.
My CPU and GPU temperatures are fine. I have reinstalled Windows, ran sfc /scannow without errors. I've stress tested my PC without issues, I've ran memtest86 and the memory diagnostic in Windows, all without any issues. No other game or program BSODs. Only Valheim.
I have tried unplugging my GPU and internet cable and then used DDU to uninstall my Nvidia driver, and then plugged in my GPU again and installed my GPU driver. All to no avail.
I get a kmode_exception_not_handled.

I've tried turning graphics settings down, turning vsync on, running the game as administrator, moving it to high priority in task manager, uninstalling/reinstalling, validating the files, updating all of my drivers, turning off steam overlay, and fiddling with my steam launch options. And still, nothing. Running it on a Ryzen 5 1600, AMD Radeon RTX 710, and 24gb of RAM with no OC at all.

JeffConstant crashes. Just bought the game two days ago. At first, I played for a few hours without problems. Then it crashed, and has continued to crash since with a variety of errors, looks like mostly Unity errors I can see for a moment with an exclamation point, but sometimes it just immediately crashes to desktop.

NachomanHaving my pc crash and auto reboot anywhere from 15min and up to 6+ hours before it happens. (mostly like 30min-3h)
GPU: GeForce RTX 3080 (gigabyte)
CPU: Ryzen 5800x
Latest drivers, even used DDU to reinstall, tried previous ones, tried studio drivers (not the game ready ones)
Tried every single fix and hack and thing i found from discord, to reddit to steam to well... here.
All other games (yes even Satisfactory) have no issues at all.
Heck i tried running it in Vulkan mode and at least then i got a BSOD for a split second.
This game so far crashes more than Cyberpunk, and that is a hard track record to beat.
Joking aside, love the game, please fix a.s.a.p. => i bet it it is in the saving of the game as it seems way to close each time to a auto save timeframe.
F5 + "save" has no issues for me (thank god, so I can solo and lose little progress)
Also tried just sitting idle at a campfire for 2h and it crashed doing nothing but sit idle. -

Our dedicated server DC's all players a lot very recently, maybe the update, maybe because we have recently killed the 3rd boss. Either way it makes it unplayable when you lose all your equipment. Fabulous game though... -

OliverHello,
I'm a big fan of the game thus far and have put in about 50 hours already without any issue. Lately I can play for about 10 minutes before my gpu fans spin to 100 and the power cuts off to my entire PC. I've tried the standard workarounds to no avail and my hardware works well enough on other games. It's unfortunate to have to put your game down until this is resolved, as I am really enjoying the game you've made.
Thank you and looking forward to playing more of your game.

YogiFixed my crashes. Love the game, but days of crashing every 4-6 minutes was spoiling the experience, and was getting rollbacks on my character for most crashes (either losing gear or duplicating). Tracking GPU on task manager, was getting a mass spike on crash so figured GFX problem. I am running a GeForce GTX 1080 TI. (I am a bit of a noob with PC's, so just tried everything others had posted). Tried Valkan, running in windows 7, re-install game in different directory, etc etc all the other suggestions. Finally fixed my crash problem today. Been playing for 3 hours now with no crashes, occasional brief lag spikes but I can live with that. I had a look in NVidia control panel, switched Max Frame Rate to 100 limit (game was running at 170+ before that). Also on Power Management Mode as adaptive. So far so good, not a single disconnect. Fingers crossed.

AshI really like this game but the crashing is unbearable and really demotivating. I can only play couple of hours a day after my fulltime job and this is honestly like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley to me; it's a stress reducer. Losing the progress I made with my precious time is demotivating.
At first, a popup came saying `UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)` and crash dump was made. The crashes after this were anonymous and didn't show a popup nor any dumps. Viewing the error on event manager, it showed `0xc0000005`.
I installed Ubuntu 20.04.2.0 LTS just to play this game, only to find the crash also happens there. How ever the logs are saying:

JakeMy game also crashes all the time. I've updated my graphics card drivers, lowered the resolution and frame rate, lowered all the graphics to minimum settings, tracked my GPU temp (doesn't overheat), reinstalled the game multiple times.
It won't crash for a few hours, but when it does (bluescreen, restart computer), that means if I try to play it again within a few minutes, it will crash almost immediately when I try to play again. Could this be from temp files? The pattern of crashing repeatedly after the first one of the day makes me think it's temp files... But it's very frustrating. I lost all my iron gear today because I had it stored on my friends server, took it out of a chest into my inventory, then crashed before it saved. Logged onto my account, player inventory has no iron armor, and chest was empty too. Very frustrating. -

Lorenzo gI'm still getting consistent crashing, both game and entire pc. All suggested fixes is doing nothing. Hope to hear of a solution I keep playing like this now becouse its the best game in years!
I h ave noticed that before the crash game kinda jumps back in time about 3minutes of gametime as if its was shutdown long before i just kept on playing. not sure im making sense here.
But that might make it a connection issuie aswell. anyone else noticed this? its happened twice for me where my char goes back 4/5minutes gameplay and teleports to another location I was standing before. Biggest spike lag ever then the game crashes nad pc sometimes. -
