Building Things Destorys Other Structure

When I build structures, it destroys whatever is under or adjacent. If I build a chest on top of a floor, the floor is simultaneously destroyed. If I build a ceiling on a wall, the wall will be destroyed. The ceiling would then float in the air, then I have to create the wall again. Limits play ability a lot.
