Duplicated Items upon death

While in the swamp I was killed and "pushed" back into our portal at the same time. I got the portal screen but after it loaded I was back at my spawn point. When I went back and looted my marker/corpse I got all the items but they were also still on the marker. I looted it again, and the items remained. After a 3rd time looting all items were removed and the market disappeared.
Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot or video of it occurring.
