Sacrificial Stones Disappearing - With and Without Heads

  Happened to us as well, Moher sacrifial stone disappeared. I saw two other posts on Reddit and a few messages in discord related to the same bug. For one person, the stone was teleported somewhere else. We haven't been able to find ours so we can't confirm that yet.

  After completing 3rd boss my group (7 online at the time) returned to the sacrificial stones to place the trophy and only one person could see the stone. After restarting the server nobody could see the stone anymore.

  This has occurred on our dedicated server as well. After killing bonemass, the stones are all gone, except for the Elder stone. Currently blocking all progression in our game.

  After completing Moher and restarting our server the following day, we lost Eikthyr's sacrificial stone. It either occurred shortly after or during the restart, since we had all 5 sacrificial stones when we turned in Moher's trophy. None of us had interacted with his stone recently and none of us had his power activated. Hope this gets patched soon, we're not stuck but clearly, others are and this is completely game-breaking for some. I checked all around our base, no sign of it teleported there.

  We've lost the Bonemass stone on our dedicated server, and won't be able to progress now.

  Same here :(. The bonemass stone has disappeared from the server and we can't do anything about it. Is there a workaround for this problem?

  Went to bring our Moder trophy to the sacrificial stone, but it was missing. The rest were still present, only the Moder stone was missing. This occurred on our dedicated server. We tried to rollback, but the stone was missing even after a 12hr rollback period.

  Our Yagluth stone also disappeared. One player was able to still see it a few days ago, but now he can no longer see it either.

  Pretty much the exact same problem as Jeff is having. I first noticed the Moder stone was missing - a friend was still able to see it then. Now when we managed to kill Moder the stone is gone

  Having the same problem as Jeff. Moders sacrificial stone is missing.
  
  I did some digging and was able to pin-point the problem to the map-file missing the zdoList entry for Moders prefab (what I believe would be called BossStone_Moder). Why this is I can only speculate, but could it be you've renamed the prefab at some time rendering the one saved into our map-file obsolete?
  
  Here are the zdo entries for all "BossStones" found in the map: "BossStone_Eikthyr","BossStone_TheElder", "BossStone_Bonemass" and "BossStone_Yagluth"

  Here's a fix for anyone having problems with missing sacrificial stones.
  
  Currently there should be 5 of them:
  - BossStone_Eikthyr
  - BossStone_TheElder
  - BossStone_Bonemass
  - BossStone_DragonQueen
  - BossStone_Yagluth
  
  I'd suggest making a backup of your world save before proceeding: %AppData%\..\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds (on Windows).
  If you're playing on a dedicated server you'll have to use FTP to download the world save to your computer before proceeding.
  
  1. Run Valheim and create a new character (this is just a precaution in case your character gets flagged by the next step) and open saved world.
  2. Press F5 to open console and type imacheater to enable cheat codes.
  3. Type spawn [BossStone_prefab] eg. spawn BossStone_DragonQueen to spawn Moders sacrificial stone.
  4. Quit
  (5. Copy back save to dedicated server - if necessary)
