Yup. Tried relogging but the kiln is still broken. It will consume wood but gives nothing in return and offers no indication it's doing anything

Same here. Putting in wood, counter stays on zero and cant destroy the Chaorcoal Kiln

Just experienced this as well. Press E to load. Count does not go up. Nothing happens.

Should probably mention that I am hosting a Dedicated server and connecting to that.

Odd. I leveled the ground around the Kiln and I was able to deconstruct it (which I could not do before). Rebuilt and working fine now...

I've had this happen multiple times but relogging fixes it every time. Playing on a multiplayer server if that makes a difference.

Just today one of the kilns on my dedicated server started doing this as well. Wood is removed from inventory but wood in kiln stays 0, won't light up or produce charcoal and can't destroy. Also, anything (like signs) built attached only to said kiln gets destroyed due to lacking structural stability as if the kiln wasn't there.

Having the same issue, can't destroy the kiln. Even with no support it continues to float mid-air.

I've also come across this issue. It occurred when my kiln was accidentally hit with a fallen tree, and now if I try to place wood into it or demolish it, it doesn't do anything. A bit annoying since now I can no longer use it, and I can't get the materials back from it bugging out.

just had one do the same, takes no damage and doesnt appear to do anything will take wood from inventory but not register that wood is being fed into kiln.

Still having this issue 3 years later :( Does anyone know a workaround?

Reloading the game has fixed it, but the wood that was placed in it is gone.
