Boats can sometimes appear upside down when returning to their location

I have multiple boats so I leave some back at my base, when returning usually they spawn and its fine but on my most recent return one of the boats spawned upside down and took damage over time until it broke causing resources such as nails to sink to a level unreachable by me.

This has happened to me twice. Both times I came out of a portal and to find my ship upside-down and breaking. The first was a Longship and the second a Karve. Both ships were in deeper water away from the land with nothing else near them.

I teleported back from the swamps to my main base through a portal, where i had a Karve parked. Upon loading i heard load noises, and noticed my boat had flipped upside down. It also damaged all parts of my dock and a bit of a wall for half durability.
