Bug/Exploit: Item duplication on loss of connectivity

When connected to a server, a player is able to disconnect their internet and simultaneously take items from a chest. Once the player rejoins the server, the items that were taken from the chest remain in the chest they were taken from; however, there is now also a copy of those items in the players inventory.

This appears to happen for multiple container types. I lost internet connectivity shortly after looting my body, and when I logged back in I had all my items on my character, but they were also available on the body to be looted again.

this works on any inventory including tombstones, carts and boats, my guess is it involves the server saving the inv as the connection is lost allowing the user to pull items into the singleplayer save of their character

Works this way too: You place items into a chest, disconnect without properly closing game (e.g. forced shutdown of computer) and on relog your items will be both in your inventory and in chest. I am not sure if one aditional player online on server is needed since there has been a player online on my server at any time.
