(potential workaround included) Dedicated server process gets stuck, causes "server not responding"

In addition to the port+1 bug that is already reported, every time I start a dedicated server, the server is listed as not responding, and myself and friend get "Disconnected" when attempting to join.

A workaround is to press Enter/Return a few times on the terminal process. This appears to unstick the process and more logs appear. It seems this is only required once per server session, and the last log entry is usually "Server connected". Perhaps something in the process is awaiting user input?
