Please add ability to remap "select inventory item"
I use right-mouse to jump, you can remap every other key in the game, but you cant remap right-click for using inventory item which means I jump every time I eat, or equip things unless i use the 1-8 hot keys. This is fine for the most part except for when im on a boat and jump overboard when trying to eat. Also, i have to double right-click to equip armor since jumping cancels the first right-click. also IMO right-click is a stupid button for this function.

ABHExactly same problem. I'm old school FPS game and jump on Mouse2 was very common so I'm used to it. I believe its functional/UX issue, maybe not much business value, but will be much appreciated. Thank you.

bill woodwardMe too. IDK if this counts as a bug, but it definitely makes it harder for me to play the game.

TyGeRan the ability to remap the 1-8 hot keys, playing with a left hand setup its annoying reaching across the keyboard to use 1-8

BloodwolfI suggested the same thing (as I am also an old school FPS player) but it seems my suggestion was deleted (as it is not a bug).

PumpuliI also suffer from this, with jump bound to right-click.
I don't necessarily think that we need to re-bind the "activate inventory item under cursor" action, since it would be quite odd to put it anywhere other than the mouse. However, to fix the problem, we simply need the bound action (jump) not take place when using right-click in the inventory. Not that the keybind needs to be disabled completely, since I may wanna jump while the inventory is open. But if the cursor is over the inventory, and right-click is used for activating an item, then the jump action should not happen. Although I suppose in this case, it's not doing what the title of this feature request says. -

HentiSame here. 30 years of right click to jump is not going to change. Please add re-map for "select inventory item"

HentiActually, this is relevant in the map as well. When removing a pin I'm also jumping, which is not ideal.

TetradenSame here.
I hope some day it will be fixed. For me as a software developer myself it seems like a rather easy fix. -
