New F2 screen displays incorrect latency

I have a sever hosted on my secondary computer which I connect via local network (using LAN IP) to the world server but for some reason my latency in the F2 is showing as 126ms and averages that. Shouldn't that show about 5 - 10ms as is common via local network? How is this calculated?
