autorun steering

I would like to be able to "steer" while autorun is active. Otherwise, it is way too easy to run into trees, rocks, bushes, giant trolls, etc. Without it, it's almost useless as there aren't many completely empty fields where you can just run in a straight line. Enabling turning without deactivating autorun would make it so much more useful.
