A Way To Delete Items

You guys have done a great job making all of the items pretty valuable. That said I've built all the portals I'm ever going to need and I still have chests and chests of greydwarf eyes. Maybe I'm paranoid but I worry for a day when all the single stones, pieces of wood, seeds, pine cones, etc. that I've dropped when my inventory is full will bring my server to a screeching halt.
I'm also worried about the stuff I've dropped in the water that sunk. The other items I could track down and chest but the one's underwater I assume will be there forever.
